  • 128cm. high, 112cm. wide; 4ft.2¼in., 3ft.8in.
the boldly scrolled cresting with an acanthus spray above 'c'-scrolls and a stylised scallopshell, flanked by shells above a rectangular plate within a cushion moulded frame, the sides with trails of flowers and leaves

Condition

Colour less greenish overall and much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Old minor restorations to carved sections as visible from photograph, which are not visible unless viewed from the back. Some retouching to decoration. Old minor marks and chips commensurate with age. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active. Strong model. In overall good conserved condition.
