- 154cm. high, 55cm. width, 39cm. deep; 5ft,½in., 1ft.9½in., 1ft. 3½in.
each with a rectangular top above a lunette carved frieze on trestle supports carved with a cherub above a stylised scallopshell flanked by two addorsed swans above a grotesque mask on scrolled feet
Condition
Colour overall less greenish and more natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The inside of the rear strut is incised with a cherub and scallopshell which is not visible from the photograph. Very attractive detail to carving. Some very minor chips. The front right foot of the one in the background has a restored break as visible from the catalogue photograph. Large impressive size. In overall good condition.
