each of baluster form with a gilt-bronze scroll and foliate cast collar and handles cast with a seated cherubs on a pierced scroll and rocaille cast base terminating in scrolled feet
Condition
Colour of porcelain is less terracotta coloured and more natural than in the catalogue photograph. Both handles stamped 2758- probably a foundry mark. The gilt bronze is nicely cast, but slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean. The rim of one vase has four medium sized chips, but these are not too visible due to gilt bronze collar and can easily be restored. Minor casting cracks in gilt bronze and minor firing flaws in porcelain, but these are hardly noticeable and do not detract from piece. Most impressive size in otherwise overall good condition.
