each in the form of a standing figure of Nike, standing on a leaf cast demi-orb holding in her hands two candlebranches in the form of entwined trumpets, on an engined turned socle and square base
Condition
Colour of gilding less green more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. They are slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. One figure of Nike is slightly loose and would benefit from the screw being tightend. The socle of one is showing the pink copper more than the other and the gilding is rubbed in places. One of the figures needs the upper section of the body re-attaching slightly more closely to the base. In overall good condition.
