Description

  • 126cm. high, 100cm. wide, 42cm. deep; 4ft.1in., 3ft.3in., 1ft.4in.
with an acanthus leaf-cast cresting above two spirally turned Corinthian columns terminating in a stylised dragon issuing a light fitting from its arm supported on two scrolled candlearms, the rectangular reservoir with cherubs flanking a flaming urn backed by green glass panels enclosing two light fittings above a graduated rectangular tier hung with tubular drops

Condition

Colour of brass is slightly darker overall, and more natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. There is some very minor surface dirt commensurate with age. Attractive detail to casting. One glass tube on the lower tier has a small section chipped off, but this is not too noticeable. In overall good condition. A highly unusual model.
