Description

  • 151cm. wide; 4ft.11½in.
the settee with a triple pierced open back wrought with scrolls comprised of swords and hilts applied with coats of arms or regimental badges, above a seat comprised of scabbards, on sabre shaped front legs

Condition

Colour of gilding less green more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Joints sound and sturdy. Usual wear and slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean. Steel has rusted in parts. Highly unusual lot in overall good original condition. Measurements: Sofa: 151cm. wide, 4ft.11½in.
