Condition

The gilt-bronze is less greenish and more golden and attractive and the colour of the wood is slightly darker and more natural than in the catalogue photograph. Old minor marks, chips and scratches to the marble top and it is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. The wood is rather dry looking and has some very minor sections of veneer missing around the border of the top and along the rear edge of the platform base. There are some hairline cracks and cracks generally to the platform base which has also suffered some minor water damage in the past to the left side. In need of some cosmetic restoration, but mounts are of nice quality and once repolished will look most attractive. Please note that this is 94cm high and 120cm wide and not as stated in the catalogue.
