Description

  • 85cm. high, 61.5cm. wide; 2ft.9in., 2ft.
with a crown corona cast with six flower-filled vases suspending pierced cruciform shaped chains intersected by a flowerhead, the central reservoir supporting eight scrolled candlearms in the form of an oil lamp, supporting an amber glass bowl with a pineapple finial

Condition

Gilding more golden and attractive than in the ctalogue photograph. There is a small crack in the amber glass bowl which will be restored after the sale at Sotheby's expense. One of the candlearms has been restored and resoldered and has not been regilded, so that the copper is visible. Another candlearm has also similarly been resolderd with copper showing through, but the gilding has been touched up. An unusual model in overall good condition.
