  • each: 42cm. high; 1ft.4in.
each with a leaf cast rim, above a band of bacchic satyrs and neo-classical female figures in drapery playing musical instruments, above a twisted-ribbon band, the lower section with a band of leaves, on a trumpet foot and plinth base applied with a gilt-bronze satyr mask

Condition

Colour stronger overall and much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Nice detail to casting. Very small pin-hole by knee of each female on one, as visible from photograph. Some very minor casting flaws. Some small very minor chips to marble bases of both. Two vertical cracks in gilt-bronze base of one. In otherwise very good condition.
