Description

  • 89cm high, 124cm. wide, 57cm. deep; 2ft. 11in., 4ft. ¾in., 1ft. 10½in.
with a later rectangular Sienna marble top above a frieze drawer inlaid with a band of addorsed eagles supporting a flower-filled tazza on their backs, suspending in their beaks ribbon-tied floral swags above two long drawers centred by an oval neo-classical medallion within a scrolling foliate border, with similarly inlaid sides on square tapering legs, the stiles inlaid with stylised foliage and neo-classical urns

Condition

Colour less orange overall and more natural and attractive than in catalogue photograph.Old minor restoration to front left corner on marble top which has been well executed and is hardly noticeable. Old minor restorations to the veneer with areas of infill and minor patches. Some very slight warping to the sides which is hardly noticeable. Some very minor sections of veneer missing as visible from photograph which can easily be replaced. Some hairline cracks generally in the veneer but these are not too noticeable. In overall good condition.
