bidding is closed

Description

  • 50cm. high, 33cm. wide, 25cm. deep; 1ft.7in., 1ft.¾in., 9¾in.
each with a backplate in the form of a quiver of arrows with a flaming urn finial issuing leaf-cast drip-pans and fluted candlenozzles above a  berried foliate corbel

Condition

Colour of gilding darker and more natural than in the catalogue photograph. Gilt-bronze is dirty with minor verdigris and would benefit from a clean. They have been previously drilled for electricity and there is a large hole in the centre of each backplate which is partially hidden by the central candlearm where they were previously fixed to a wall with a large screw, but this could be filled. An attractive model. In overall good condition.
