Description

  • 130cm. high, 110cm. diameter; 4ft. 3in., 3ft. 7in.
with a scrolled corona above a baluster shaped reservoir supporting six scrolled candlearms surmounted by birds above a further twenty-two scrolled foliate cast and spirally fluted candlearms

Condition

Colour of gilding more golden and more attractive than in catalogue illustration. Attractive detail to the casting. The piece is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Some of the candle nozzles are bent slightly inwards, but this does not detract from the piece. Please note: in total there are 30 scrolled candlearms and not as stated in the catalogue. This piece was formerly fitted for electricity. Once cleaned, this piece will look most attractive.
