modelled by J.Eberlein, as a gardener standing before a tree stump holding a basket of fruit, wearing a yellow hat, white jacket painted with indianische Blumen, and turquoise breeches, mounted as an inkstand with inkwell and glass liner, beneath two branches set with porcelain flowers and surmounted by a candle nozzle and foilate drip pan, the clock with white enamel dial, fitted with an earlier fusee watch movement indistinctly signed Festu à Paris (some restoration to hands and toes on one foot, one flower lacking, typical chips to flowers)
