Description

  • 30cm., 11¾in. high
modelled by J.J.Kaendler, each about to draw his sword, one with left hand raised to his head, wearing a black tricorn hat, brown coat, blue waistcoat and black breeches, the other with black tricorn hat, green coat and breeches and yellow waistcoat, the gilt-bronze base cast with leafy scrolls and supporting a tree applied with porcelain flowers (some restoration to figures, typical chips to flowers)

Condition

the right figure with restoration to hat, both cuffs, shoe tips and the top of the tree-stump to the reverse, the left one with restoration to hat, left cuff and shoe tips, each base with some restoration to leaves and wear to gilding, some typical chips to flowers
