- 12cm.high, 28cm. wide, 23cm. deep; 4¾in., 11in., 9in.
in the form of a rectangular casket, the top with two doors opening to reveal a sander and an aperture for an inkpot and a receptacle for writing implements, the angles with scrolled corbels on a concave-sided rectangular base, the whole mounted with rectangular porcelain plaques depicting birds in landscapes within a foliate cast border on a stippled ground
Condition
Gilt-bronze is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Inkpot is missing but can be replaced. Attractive painting to panels. In overall good condition.
