Description

  • 35cm. high, 30cm. x 30cm.; 1ft.1¼in., 11¾in., 11¾in.
each with a domed cover with a foliate finial, with a stylised Greek-key band with a lion mask handle on each side and a foliate cast band on a trumpet foot and stepped plinth base with stylised Greek key above  spirally-fluted toupie feet; one cover replaced

Condition

Colour overall slightly darker and gilding more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. There are some miniscule chips to the later black marble bases which are hardly noticeable. The socle of the vase in the background is a later replacement. Both vases have been restored. In otherwise good restored condition.
