A gilt-bronze-mounted white and black marble porticao mantel clock Louis XVI , late 18th century

the drum shaped case containing a white enamel dial with Roman numerals above a ribbon-tied spray of oak leaves laurel leaves and, surmounted by an eagle  above fruiting swags and fruit -filled campana vases flanked by Corinthian columns and scrolled corbels surmounted by flaming urns on an shaped base and toupie feet   

Enamel dial chipped at the centre and around the right winding hole, minute hand replaced and lacking collet. The movement appears to be complete but much in need of a clean. Silk suspension and pendulum hook both broken. Case mounts retain original gilding. Numerous chips to marble and white marble rather dirty. With Pendulum and a winder.
