An Italian carved walnut sofa, Venetian mid 18th century

with a serpentine padded back above outward scrolled arms and rectangular padded seat on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet

Colour of walnut slightly lighter overall and more natural and attractive than in photograph. The back is a drop-in, which has been secured in the past and needs to be refixed as the glue has dried out. Joints sound and sturdy. The piece has been revarnished and reblocked. In overall good condition.
