Condition
Colour overall slightly darker, much more attractive than in catalogue photograph with a nice patina. Old minor marks, chips, and scratches commensurate with age and usage. There are some very minor old restorations and patches to the veneer-these have been well executed and are hardly noticeable. There are some old minor restorations generally for example to the mouldings, but these have been very well executed and are hardly noticeable. There is also very nice detail to with the burr walnut along the frieze not apparent from catalogue photograph. The mounts are probably a later replacement. Very impressive size. In overall good conserved condition, can be placed immediately.
