STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good condition.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals minor retouching to the upper right of the canvas and along the top and left hand edge of the canvas where it meets the frame. There had been some minor retouching to the sky in the upper left of the canvas, predominantly in very thin lines along the lower edges of the top and left stretcher bars and to minor lines of craquelure in the background.

Held in a carved and gilded period style frame.
