Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined. There is one very small indentation to the front of the canvas half way up at the very far left of the painting.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good condition. There has been some minor retouching to craquelure and the painting has been cleaned.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light confirms the minor infilling to craquelure and reveals some very small scattered areas of strengthening in the background.
FRAME
Held in a carved and gilded wood frame.
