Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been lined. PAINT SURFACE The work would appear to be in generally good condition. There is a weave of even cracquelure to the paint surface, which is characteristic for a painting of this age. ULTRAVIOLET Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some infilling to lines of cracquelure. FRAME Held in a carved wooden frame.
