Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been lined. PAINT SURFACE The painting appears to be in generally good condition. The are some minor adrasions to the paint surface to the left, lower left and bottom right hand corner of the canvas. ULTRAVIOLET Examination under ultraviolet light reveals minor scattered retouchings overall, particularly in the sitters robes. FRAME The picture is unframed.
