Condition
The works appears to be presented in its original ornate gold frame with gold timber slip. Visible defects are a horizontal crack to board through centre of work and lower left in water a smaller horizontal crack approximately 30mm in length. General varnish discolouration. Fine cracking across much of the darker surface. This work has received restoration on the reverse to support horzintal crack in board. UV inspection confirms major areas of re-painting to much of picture surface.
