Description

  • height 23 1/2in. (59.7cm)
of slender baluster form, the body chased and applied with rocaille cartouches depicting in high relief Cupid and Psyche on one side and Aurora and Zephyr on the other, the cartouches spaced by engraved presentation inscriptions, scroll handle applied with rosebuds, all on shaped circular base chased with spiraling lobes and raised on four shellwork feet, marked on base and numbered 12431-7122
