- height of tallest vase 16 1/8 in.
- 41 cm
each painted with peony and prunus foliage beneath foliate honeysuckle borders. Minor restoration, fritting and chips.
Condition
The rim of the neck of the first baluster vase has been restored and oversprayed. There are two ¼-inch circular shallow chips on the edge of the shoulder of the same vase, and some fritting on the ribs. The second baluster vase has a ¼-inch shallow chip on the corner of the rim of one vase and extensive fritting on the rims and ribs. The third baluster vase has extensive fritting on the rims and ribs. The first trumpet vase has extensive fritting on the ribs and rims. There are two shallow ¼-inch chips and an 1/8-inch shallow chip on the edge of the rim. The second trumpet vase has extensive fritting on the rims and ribs. Each cover has fritting along the edges of the rims and to the angles. The fu-dog knop of one cover has been broken off and re-glued. Otherwise the vases and covers are in generally good condition.
