painted on the front or reverse with a bowknotted spray of flowers and smaller sprigs within a scroll-, floral- and foliate-edged oval panel and on the sides with similar foliate and shell-edged panels, the interior with a floral cluster beneath an elaborate border of trellis-, diaper- and scalework cartouches suspending floral garlands. The entire rim has at least five areas, approximately measuring from 2-4 inches, of well-restored rim chips. Otherwise in good condition.
