Description
each piece painted with pagodas in a river landscape within underglaze-blue shaped borders, comprising: a 14¾-inch charger, twelve dinner plates and six soup plates. Some minor restoration and fritting. 19 pieces.
Condition
All but three dinner plates have areas of fritting around their entire rims and all the plates have occasional small firing tears to the rim edge, which in many cases have been touched-up with a white paint-like substance. Additionally, one plate has a 1 1/4-in. haircrack to the rim and one has a minor 1/8-in. chip on the underside of the rim. Two plates have only several minor rim frits and one is free from fritting. Each of two soup plates has a very minor1/8-in. rim chip and the remainder have some extremely minor occasional pinhead flake/chips to the rim edges. The charger is in generally good condition.
