each painted with foliate sprays surrounded by a dense floral border on the shaped rim, comprising: a canted rectangular soup tureen, cover and stand, two 17-inch meat dishes, a 13¾-inch meat dish, two 11-inch meat dishes, a 15-inch circular charger, two circular serving bowls, a sauceboat and stand, two canted rectangular salts, two large plates, five dinner plates, five soup plates, two small soup plates and two small plates. Some minor fritting, chips and restoration. 31 pieces.
Condition
One of the 17-inch meat dishes has some minor fritting around the entire edge of the rim. The other platter has a restored 2-inch by 2-inch section on the rim and a restored 2-inch hair crack, which have been extensively oversprayed. There is some minor fritting around the edge of the rim. There is some fritting on the edge of the rims of the 13¾-inch and two 11-inch meat dishes. The entire edge of the rim has been restored and extensively oversprayed on the 15-inch circular charger. The two circular serving bowls have extensive fritting on the edges of the rims. The spout of the sauceboat has been restored and oversprayed, and there is a ¼-inch circular shallow chip where the handle joins the body. There is a restored 2-inch by 3-inch section, which has been extensively oversprayed on the rim of the stand. One of the salts has some minor shallow chips on the edges of the rim and a deep ¼-inch chip on one of the corners of the foot rim. The other salt has some minor small shallow chips on the corners of the rim. Each of the two large plates has extensive fritting on the edge of the rim. One of the pates has an approximately 5½-inch haircrack across the center of the plate. One of the dinner plates has a 3-inch vertical haircrack from the rim to the cavetto and has a ¼-inch circular shallow chip on the rim. Another dinner plate has a 5-inch restored section on the rim extending into the cavetto, which has been extensively oversprayed. The other three dinner plates have some very tiny shallow chips on the edge of the rim and some fritting. One soup plate has a 3-inch by 3-inch restored section on the rim extending into the cavetto, which has been extensively oversprayed. Another soup plate has a 1-inch by 1/8-inch restored chip on the edge of the rim and has some fritting around the rim. Another soup plate has two 1/8-inch shallow chips on the underside edge of the rim with some minor fritting. Another soup plate has a 1½-inch vertical haircrack running from the rim into the cavetto and has a shallow ¼-inch chip on the underside edge of the rim. Another soup plate has some fritting around the rim. The two small soup plates and two small plates have some minor fritting on the edges of the rims. Because the restoration is very good, it is impossible to determine the original extent of the damage of restored pieces unless otherwise stated in the condition report. Otherwise the service is generally in good condition.
