of cylindrical form with protruding rim and shaped ears with impressed mark J. NORTON & CO. BENNINGTON, VT. 2, decorated in rich colbalt blue, folky depiction of a schoolhouse with a flag on top, two trees and fence in the foreground; some cracks.
