Description
- Bouclier, Manza
- haut. 147 cm
en vannerie, fait de plusieurs épaisseurs de fibres tressées dessinant un décor linéaire. Les longues verticales accentuent la forme étirée de l'ovale, tandis que le rehaut de patine sombre et les courtes bandes tressées horizontales mettent en valeur les courbes tendues de l'ombilic saillant. Au dos, la poignée rapportée, en bois, est sculptée en forme de losange, profondément gravée d'un décor en chevrons serrés. Belle patine d'usage de la poignée.

Condition
Very good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. A break in the vegetal string, on the last line, at the top and the bottom. Few superficial chips to the dark patina, on the reliefs.
