Selon la mode apparue dans la région vers les années 1880, le plateau est entièrement recouvert de têtes de clous en laiton - réservant sur le dossier un motif en triangles opposés. Beau jeu de lignes, la tension de la courbe accentuée par la légère inclinaison des pieds et de l'extrémité du dossier. A la richesse du décor clouté répond le traitement épannelé de la surface. Très belle patine d'usage.
