ogun, offrant l'image classique de l'adorante nue, agenouillée, les mains posées sur la poitrine généreuse. La haute coiffe se prolonge par un sommet piriforme dans lequel vient se ficher la lame, dirigée vers l'arrière. Grande richesse de l'ornementation, le corps paré de scarifications et de bijoux gravés en champlevés. Patine profonde, nuancée, brillante sur les reliefs.

L'image de l'adorante agenouillée se tenant la poitrine est un thème classique de l'iconographie des statues d'autel dédiées aux divinités (ici ogun) du panthéon Yoruba. Elle ferait allusion aux pouvoirs féminins (Joubert in RMN, 1997 : 260, n° 92).
