the smooth body decorated with a pattern of granulated gold beads, the front set with an Antique carnelian intaglio of Mars, the handles and borders set with beads, with workmaster's initials, 56 standard

Condition

The carnelian section has two minor chips and is lightly scratched. Further surface scratches to the gold consistent with age and use but in overall good condition.
