- 71cm. high, 80cm. wide, 48cm. deep; 2ft. 4in., 2ft. 7½in., 1ft. 6¾in.
the top with moulded border, the frieze with a drawer and original iron ring handles, the square and baluster turned legs joined by peripheral stretchers
Condition
Tidy with attractive patina throughout and superb colour to top. The top with typical separation, black marks, indents and wear. Lateral friezes with small areas of fragmenting. Drawer front with partial old split. The old lock probably not original to this piece as marks to timber and fragmenting suggest originally with larger lock on this site. Key lacking. Pine drawer linings and floor with worm and separations. The interior with a divided compartment and the floor with probable replacements. Under frame with later runners and with later batons on the reverse of the short lateral friezes. Turned legs tidy. Lower sections of legs and the stretchers with some traces of old worm and slight fragmenting. Attractive wear on front stretcher rail. Of firm stance.
