Description
- 63cm. high, 2ft.½in.
with acanthus carved handles, one side carved with a bearded male mask, the other with flowers and fruit terminating in a dog's head with a turned tapering brass nozzle
Condition
Beautiful detail to carving. There are some old minor restoration to the carving especially to the flowers and there has been an old vertical restoration on the mask side of the bellows which has been very well executed. There are some very minor chips to the flowers and leaves and the nozzle is tarnished and would benefit from a light clean, according to taste. An unusual lot in overall good condition.
