- 47cm. high, 100cm. wide, 41cm. deep; 1ft. 6½in., 3ft. 3½in., 1ft. 4in.
with a domed hinged cover, the front with twin lock plates, the sides with iron carrying handles and the interior with later fabric lining
Condition
Very decorative with a lot of wear from use. Some losses to metalwork. Losses and some patching to leather. The hinged cover with an incomplete hasp and another hasp lacking. The exposed timber shows fragmenting and some splitting. Traces of worm. Interior fabric untidy with stains and wear. Atmospheric and showing a lot of history.
