Condition

Construction crack in the top where there has been shrinkage due to age. The candlebox is now missing. Evidence of a previous lockplate internally. Attractively carved panels. Evidence of old insect damage. The metal lockplate is probably a later replacement. In overall good conserved condition. Very attractive chest.
