Description

  • 177cm. high, 130cm. wide, 51cm. deep; 5ft. 9¾in., 4ft. 3in., 1ft. 8in.
, decorated throughout with arabesques and trophies incoporating masks, the pair of panelled doors flanked by pilasters, the apron with two drawers and acanthus carved pillars, probably some restoration in the 19th century

Condition

Finely carved and in fair condition. The panels with splits and separations some traces of worm throughout. Some losses and wear to the carved detail. The cornice with loss on the front left corner. Some indications of repairs to hinge sites and the right door with a damaged hinge. The drawer fronts with wear and fragmenting. The plinth with fragmenting and partial losses to moulding. Attractive colour and pleasing presence to this very decorative piece.
