Description
- 125cm. high, 224cm. long, 168cm. wide;4ft.¾in., 7ft.3¾in., 5ft.5¾in.
with a cresting carved with a scrolled boss flanked by fruit-filled stylised cornucopiae above an arcaded headboard, the uprights surmounted by a stylised pinecone finial, the side-rails painted to resemble faux marbre, the footboard with posts surmounted by pinecone finials on gadrooned bulbous feet; painting refreshed
Condition
Some minor retouching to painting and gilding. Restorations to cresting which has been strengthened at the back. The arcaded section could well be later replacement. Old minor restorations generally. In overall good conserved condition.
