Condition

Colour slightly darker overall than in the photo. Old minor chips, scratches and splits and patches to veneer and minor restorations commensurate with age. There is an 8 x 10cm. size gouge to the top, which has been filled in one part, but there has been some loss to the filler and it would benefit from some minor attention. There is a rectangular patch to the top and other minor patches and a largish patch to flap. Hairline cracks generally as visible from photograph, which can be filled or left. Lockplates missing. In otherwise good restored condition. Good example of an Italian Renaissance prie dieu.
