Catalogue Note
Sieber spent two years in the Levant (1817-18), including one year in Crete collecting botanical specimens (a number of which are illustrated). The work was first published in Vienna in 1820 under the title Verzeichniss der in den Jahren 1817 und 1818 auf einer Reise durch Creta, Agypten und Palestina gesammelt.
