Catalogue Note

An account of the first organized steamer cruise to the Levant in 1833. The work, which includes views of Malta, Tinos, Syros, Hydra, Smyrna, Athens and Constantinople, is dedicated to King Otho, whose brother, Maximilian of Bavaria, was among the passengers.
