Starting from Venice, Laurent visited Chios, Constantinople, Athens, the Peloponnese, and Corfu. The appendix consists of the Constitution of the Ionian Islands. The work is uncommon, having only appeared once in English auctions in thirty years, apart from the Blackmer and Atabey copies.
