Catalogue Note

Apparently the only edition of this rare work. Nine of the lithographed plates are probably by the landscape painter Alexis Victor Joly, and are taken from the aquatints published in William Haygarth's Greece, a Poem ten years earlier. "E.L.", who wrote the text, has so far resisted identification.
