included with this lot are two prospectuses. As they stand they differ from each other, the better one having 2 more plates and a pictorial inset on the upper cover, as well as a loosely inserted "Conditions de souscription", and includes a plate "Andritzèna" which does not appear in the book.

This work and the previous lot are not included in Navari's catalogue of the Blackmer collection, though copies were included in the auction of Blackmer's books (sale in these rooms, 11-13 October 1989, lots 1143 and 1144). There is no indication of how many copies of En Grèce were printed but it is likely that numbers of such a sumptuous book would have been limited, probably just to subscribers. A copy, with a presentation leaf stating a limitation of 230 copies, was sold in these rooms (10 December 1998, lot 278).
