  • chargers: 38 and 42.5cm. diameter.
comprising: four chargers with the coats-of-arms of Harck of Amsterdam and (probably) of Van der Does of Holland and Brabant, Qianlong, two 'Klapmuts' bowls, Chenghua six-character-mark, two bowls, four 'Kraakporselein' bowls with everted rims, Wanli, fourteen various dishes, a matched set of three beaker vases, two pairs of ovoid vases, a five-piece garniture, a five-piece miniature garniture, a pair of small ovoid vases, a pair of small baluster vases, a collection of sixteen miniature vases, four various vases and two loose covers, two Kendi, Wanli, four teapots and covers, an ovoid teacaddy and cover, a jug and cover, Emblem mark, two octagonal silver-mounted bowls, leaf mark, a rice bowl and cover, and a large number of various teabowls and saucers, overall damages, chips and hairline cracks  

Condition

Most of the items are in overall good condition, there are some rim frits, small chips, hairline cracks and some light surface scratching to the glaze. Few items have been restored. Selected items as visible in the catalogue image from above to below: Teacaddy: In overal good condition, very minor light surface scratching, one larger glaze pit, fine hairline crack to the cover (ca. 2cm.). Kendi: In overall good condition with minor light surface scratching, some smaller chips and one larger shallow chip to the opening, some glaze abrasion to the neck, minor pin point iron impurities to the glaze, minor sand inclusion to the underside. One Kendi slightly darker in colour. Teapots: In overall good condition with minror rim frits, glaze abrasion, minor impurities to the glaze. Each with fine (hardly visible) firing flaw (ca. 4cm. long) close to the lower rim. One cover with minor loss / firing flaw to the underside rim. Pair of vases: Minor light surface scratching. Probably formerly mounted. Discolouring to the footrim, minor chips, the necks slightly shortened, chips and glaze abrasion to the upper rim, one with shallow chip. Sleeve vases: One with two small chips to the upper rim, horizontal firing flaw (ca. 3cm.)close to the upper rim of one vase, related fine hairline crack. One vase with neck broken into several pieces and restuck. Small garniture: One vase and cover with small hairline crack running down from upper rim, one beaker vase with hairline crack (ca. 5cm.) and related side crack running down from upper rim. Pair of baluster vases: In overall reasonably good condition with some minor imperfections to the glaze, minor frits to the footrims, one vase with small bruise and related fine hairline crack (ca. 6cm.), the other with the neck broken into several pieces and restuck, glue residue, one piece missing. Small garniture to the right: Overall in reasonably good condition, two baluster vases with upper rims restuck and partly overpainted, one with small rim chip and related hairline cracks, one beaker vase with restuck rimchips and hairline crack, two covers probably associated. Jug and cover: In overall good condition with very light surface scratching, few minor shallow (glaze) chips to spout and handle, minor frits to the footrim. Larger Klapmuts bowl left: In overall good condition with some minor rim frits and very light surface scratching. Armorial plates: Overall in good condition with minor rim frits and few shallow chips to the underside rims, minor glaze wear and surface scratching; the largest with hairline crack (ca. 15cm. long), related side cracks visible to the reverse, minor impurities to the glaze.
