  • 76cm. high.
14-cm velvet covered brass dial, engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals signed C. van Rossen op de Koog, brass hands and alarm disc, cherub spandrels, brass posted verge movement with countwheel Dutch quarter striking on two surmounted bells, alarm on the large bell, moulded rosewood case with shaped back board, traditional pierced brass frets to the front and sides, twisted corner columns and glazed side doors, shaped pierced brackets flanking the oval lenticle

Condition

chapter ring tarnished and should be re-silvered, velvet a little worn but not too much (attractive), movement able to function but in need of a clean, pendulum now with steel sring suspension instead of knife-edge, atlas for bells lacking, case a little dirty but in good condition, a few small cracks and small top moulding probably later under a plugged hole for the suspension of the clock to the wall, a few pieces of veneer replaced, together with a pendulum and four pear-shaped weights
