Description

  • interlaced PK monogram for the 'Drie Posteleyne Astonne' under Pieter Gerritsz. Kam and 4 in underglaze blue, minor restorations, chips and hairline cracks
  • baluster vases: 38cm. high, beaker vases: 34cm. high.
each painted in Chinoiserie style with sprays of stylized chrysanthemum and foliage comprising: three baluster vases and covers and two beaker vases

Condition

In overall good condition, all vases with some minor rim frits, minor light surface scratching and wear to the glaze. One baluster vase with hairline crack running down from the upper rim (ca. 3cm.) and two related very fine hairline cracks to the sides, one baluster vase with upper rim restored and partly overpainted, glazewear to the neck of the vase, one baluster vase with two small hairline cracks running down from the upper rim (ca. 2cm. long), one cover restored; one beaker vase with restored rim chip (ca. 3 by 1.5cm.), one with minor rim chip.
