rack bell striking movement signed Br Deniere A Paris 2819 with Brocot escapement and fixed winders, fitted in a patinated sphere with applied Roman numerals and foliate pierced and engraved hands, surmounted by gilt bronze clouds with a putto, supported by further clouds with three flying putti holding a garland, oval moulded base with an oval central relief surrounded by the scrolling leaf feet, together with two matching 8-light putto-stem candelabra, bronzework of good quality

movement in good condition but might benefit from a clean, fixed winders at the back, base in original untouched condition, all bronzes dirty but the gilding appears to be in very good condition, patinated sphere partly rubbed and could be improved, hands fine, candelabra in similar untouched good condition, together with 2 candelabra, winder (winders are fixed at the movement)
